Daily Metta is a personal meditation and gratitude reflection app developed by Mickey Cohen. The app is provided as-is, free of charge, with optional support contributions available through in-app purchases.
You retain full ownership of everything you write in Daily Metta. Your journal entries, meditation data, and any edits you make to AI-generated summaries belong to you. Daily Metta does not claim any rights to your content.
Daily Metta uses Apple Intelligence to generate monthly and annual recap summaries from your journal entries. These summaries are created on your device and are provided for your personal reflection. AI-generated content may not always be accurate or complete — it is intended as a starting point that you can edit and personalize. Daily Metta makes no guarantees about the quality, accuracy, or completeness of AI-generated content.
Daily Metta is free to use. Optional support contributions (tips) are available as in-app purchases processed by Apple. These are voluntary and do not unlock additional features. All purchases are final and subject to Apple's refund policies.
Daily Metta is designed for personal use. You agree not to use the app in any way that could harm, disable, or impair it, or interfere with any other party's use of the app.
Daily Metta is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. You use the app at your own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mickey Cohen and Daily Metta shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of content, or inability to access the app.
You are responsible for maintaining backups of your data. While Daily Metta supports iCloud sync, we do not guarantee that your data will be preserved in all circumstances. We recommend periodically exporting your entries using the Export feature in Settings.
Daily Metta integrates with Apple services including iCloud (for sync), Apple Health (for mindfulness minutes), Apple Intelligence (for summaries), and StoreKit (for purchases). Your use of these services is governed by Apple's own terms and privacy policies.
We may update, modify, or discontinue features of Daily Metta at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to preserve your data through any changes, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service.
We may update these terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted here with a new date. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Daily Metta will be resolved in accordance with applicable law.
